CGPSC Exam Date, Online Application Form, Syllabus, Pattern, Centre, Admit Cards

CGPSC has released the official notification of CGPSC State Service Exam 2018 on October 01, 2018 at psc.cg.gov.in. The application process of the State Service Examination will commence from December 07, 2018 and ended 5th January 2019. The candidates can do correction in application form between January 08 to 14, 2019. The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on February 17, 2019. The candidates will able to download the admit card for the prelims before the exam. Through this examination, the Commission will select 160 candidates for the services. The recruitment of the candidates completes in three stages of examination i. e. prelims, mains and personality test. Get here all the details of CGPSC State Service Exam 2018.

CGPSC Syllabus – Mains

The CGPSC Mains involves 7 papers of 200 marks in total and time limit provided is of 180 minutes (3 hours).

Paper – 1 Language

  4. Part 4 – Chattisgarhi Language

In the language part, you have to make sure that you have thorough knowledge in all the languages mentioned above involving the following aspects –

Comprehension, Precise Writing, Re-arrangement & Sentence Correction, Synonyms & Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, Vocabulary, Tenses, Prepositions, and Active & Passive voice, Translation, Parts of Speech, History of the language, Renowned writers & authors of the respective languages.

Paper – 2 Essay

In Paper 2 you will have to write 2 essays of 100 marks each on problems given in Part 1 & 2. 3 problems will be given in each part and you have to write on all the 3 problems. Word-limit of 1500 words will be given in both Part 1 & 2.
