COMEDK FOR MEDICAL AND DENTAL COURSES

Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) organises a common entrance test. for candidates aspiring to pursue Under Graduate courses Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in the State of Karnataka, in member institutions of the Consortium (Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges) 

Eligibility Criteria


General Merit Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject and must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCB. In addition, in the Common Entrance Test, must have secured not less than 50% marks in PCB.

SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject and must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% of marks taken together in PCB. In addition, in the Common Entrance Test, must have secured not less than 40% marks in PCB. He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.
