BPSC 64 notification 2018 out! Bihar Public Service Commission has announced official notification BPSC 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2018 for total 1395 vacancies (revised) of various posts in Bihar State Government Department. The last date for BPSC 64th Pre exam online application has been extended to 30th August 2018. Earlier, the last date to apply online for BPSC PT 64th exam is 20th August 2018. BPSC Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

To apply for BPSC 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination you need to have Graduation or equivalent degree from a government recognized university.

Age Limit

  1. Minimum age (as on 1 August 2018) – 20, 21,22 Years
  2. General Male – 37 Years
  3. Gen Female/ OBC/ OBC (Male/Female) – 40 years
  4. SC / SC(Male/Female) – 42 years

Selection Process

The selection process for BPSC PT 2018 is based on Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview. Candidates who will successfully complete the exams and the interview will get shortlisted for the BPSC PT 2018.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

BPSC (Preliminary) Exam Pattern:

  1. Duration of the Prelims Examination will be 2 hours.
  2. 150 questions of 150 marks will be asked in the examination.
  3. There will be no negative marking in the examination.
  4. One mark will be awarded to the candidates for each correct answer.

BPSC Syllabus for Mains Exam

For the Written Examination, there are four papers in BPSC Main Examination. The Papers include Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2 & one Optional Paper. Total marks assigned to Written Examination are 900. The applicants will have to obtain at least 30 % marks in Hindi paper which will be qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in the Mains Examination by the Candidates will determine the merit list for the Interview stage.

Admit Card

Candidates applied for the BPSC 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination can download the admit card from the official site of Bihar Public Service Commission- http://bpsc.bih.nic.in. The BPSC PT admits card for the Preliminary exam is expected to be out for download 10 days before the exam. We will update the direct link to download the admit card.

After the successful conduction of the 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, the commission will upload the result of shortlisted candidates on its official site.
